How do I use my Study Bible or other reference book?

This article is for PocketBible 3 or later.  If you are using PocketBible 2, click here here to be taken to the PocketBible 2 article.

PocketBible is the reader that allows you to access your various books. Your book may be a Bible, a Study Bible, a Commentary, a Dictionary, or something else. They all work the same and you can use them together.

PocketBible 3 and later versions allows you to open a multiple window view. You may use this feature to view two or more Bibles at the same time, two or more reference books at the same time, or a variety of books at the same time. It's your choice.

  1. Open your first book of choice by doing a press AND HOLD on the screen and tap Change Book.
  2. Select the book and tap OK.
  3. Select your second book by tapping View and Add Book.
  4. Select the second book and tap OK. You are now in a two book view. You can add additional books using this same method if you'd like. You are not restricted to just two windows.
  5. If your synchronization feature is turned on then your books will automatically move together. Change to a new location in the Bible and the rest of the windows will move.

There may be times when you don't want all of the windows to move. You may only want one window to move. You can toggle the synchronization on and off as needed by tapping the Synchronize icon at the bottom. It's the 3rd icon from the right. It has 2 arrows in a circle.
