Cannot copy Laridian Data.ldb or Laridian Data.db (while synchronizing).

The Laridian Data file keeps track of your notes and your bookmarks. In order for that file to get synchronized you need to make sure that PocketBible is completely shut down. If PocketBible isn't shut down then the file is still in use. If the file is in use then it can't be synchronized. Tapping the X in an application on a Pocket PC does not exit the application. It minimizes the application.

To correctly exit out of a Pocket PC application, tap the keyboard in the lower right corner to open. If you use Transcriber or other hand recognition software then you may need to switch to keyboard to do this. Then tap CTL and Q to quit. This will take you out of the application. Then synchronize and it should work without a problem. You can add an Exit option to the Edit menu in PocketBible by using the following procedure:

PocketBible 3 or later:

1. In PocketBible tap View, Options, and More Options.
2. Tap the Advanced tab on the bottom. It's the last tab on the right. You may need to scroll to the right to find the tab.
3. Place a check mark in the box for Exit and tap OK.
4. You can now tap Exit from the Edit menu when you're using PocketBible.

PocketBible 2:

1. In PocketBible tap View and Options .
2. Tap the Advanced tab on the bottom. It's the last tab on the right. You may need to scroll to the right to find the tab.
3. Place a check mark in the box for Exit and tap OK, OK.
4. Exit using the CTL + Q on the keyboard as described above.
5. You can now tap Exit from the Edit menu when you're in PocketBible.
