The file [file name] is in use or is in ROM.

This indicates that the program or book that you are installing is already open and in use on your device. Exit the application on your device, and then repeat the installation (tapping the X does not exit on a Pocket PC). For example, if you are installing an update to PocketBible, and PocketBible (or the PocketBible demo) is already running on your device, then the installation will be unable to install the new revision. Simply switch to PocketBible and exit the program (tap Ctrl+Q on the keyboard, for instance). Then repeat the installation. You can also encounter this problem if you are installing a book (such as the NIV), when that book is being used by PocketBible or DailyReader. Again, exit PocketBible or DailyReader, then repeat the installation. If you are having trouble exiting or you still receive this error when nothing appears to be running, do a soft reset on your handheld and try again. If you are not sure how to do a soft reset, read the documentation that came with your handheld for the proper instructions.
