Error: No additional applications designed for your device were found.

This error message will occur when you are missing part of your BlackBerry Device software.  The CD you received with your BlackBerry did not contain everything that you need.

1. Go to www.blackberry.com
2. Select the Support tab at the bottom.
3. Enter your BlackBerry model number in the search dialog and press Enter.
4. When the search results appear, locate the article titled "Unable to install third-party applications on the BlackBerry smartphone using BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.2.2 or 4.3".  You may need to select "Next 7" at the bottom to go to the next page of articles.
5. Follow the instructions in the article.

Once you have the updated BlackBerry Device software installed then you should find that BlackBerry Manager correctly identifies the files.
