Over a period of 40 years, Dr. Thompson perfected this system, which enables the student to follow a single biblical topic from Genesis to Revelation.

This material is normally printed in the margins of a Bible, which limits its use to only one translation. We've produced the Thompson Chain-Reference Bible as a commentary in PocketBible, which allows it to be used beside any Bible you have installed. A topical study can begin with the list of over 8000 topics in alphabetical order. From here you'll link to a list of verses that describe or exemplify the topic. Glance at the Thompson Chain-Reference Bible notes that are following along with your reading and you'll see a list of topics discussed in the verse. You can link from there back to the list of topics, or, if this is one of the major verses in the chain, you can link directly to the next verse.

The marginal notes also contain links to parallel passages, and the numerical list of topics includes "see also" links to related topics.
