Over 100 years ago, James Strong created a unique reference book: A list of every word in the Bible, including a list of every occurrence of every word, and the Hebrew, Aramaic, or Greek word from which it was translated in each case. By assigning a number to every original language word, Strong made it possible for a layperson with no language experience to quickly find the word in his Hebrew and Greek dictionaries.

Keyed to the Strong's numbering system, this special edition of Strong's lexicon combines selections from Strong's famous Greek and Hebrew definitions enhanced with word study information from Thayer's Lexicon and the famous lexicon from Brown, Driver and Briggs. Provides English readers with detailed meanings of biblical words in the original languages.

James Strong, LL.D., S.T.D, former professor of exegetical theology at Drew Theological Seminary, spent more than thirty-five years preparing his landmark concordance. First published in 1890 Strong's remains the most widely used concordance and dictionary of Bible words from the King James Version of the Bible.
