The Laridian edition has been produced by combining the 2011 edition of the NIV text with an electronic edition of John R. Kohlenberger's NIV Exhaustive Bible Concordance (NIVEBC). The result is an attributed text where Goodrick-Kohlenberger (G/K) numbers, Strong numbers, original-language words, and original-language lemmas have been attached to the English words in the NIV text.

The index of Goodrick-Kohlenberger numbers to Strong numbers in the print edition has been used to add Strong numbers to the attributes of each English word. This makes the book even more useful to readers who are more familiar with James Strong's work or who have other reference materials that are indexed by his numbering system.

In addition to the attributed NIV text, this product contains the Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic Dictionary from the print edition as a stand-alone dictionary. Links from the Bible take you directly to the entries in this dictionary. Links from Strong numbers in the NIV text require any of Laridian's dictionaries that include definitions for Strong's word numbers. Those dictionaries are sold separately.

About this Volume

Due to its complex layout, this product is not compatible with the Windows versions of PocketBible. This will be resolved with the next major release of PocketBible for Windows.
