About the Author(s)
Frederick Brotherton Meyer F.B. Meyer (1847-1929), born in England on April 8, 1847, graduated from the University of London and studied Theology at Regent's Park College. Born in a devout Baptist home, he was heavily influenced by a Quaker grandmother and his good friend Dwight L. Moody. He was a member of the Higher Life Movement and was known as a crusader against immorality. Charles Spurgeon said of F.B. Meyer that he "preaches as a man who has seen God face to face." F.B. Meyer wrote over 40 books in his lifetime.
