How do I uninstall my text files?
For Windows (scroll down for Mac instructions):
- Connect your iPod and open iTunes
- On the left you will see Device with the name of your iPod. Select it. You will see new information appear on the right.
- Under Options (you may need to scroll down) put a check mark in Enable disk use.
- Select Apply.
- Minimize your iTunes.
- Re-run the iPocketBible installer on the first CD/DVD. If you originally downloaded, go to the directory in which you extracted your text files (for example, C:\iPocketBible) to locate the iPocketBible Installer (or do a search for the file). If you no longer have that file, you can log back into your account to redownload and execute the setup file to get to the installer you need.
- Select the drive letter in which your notes are installed and select OK. This should launch the installer.
- Deselect all of the books that you no longer want installed. If you want all books removed then deselect all books.
- Click GO. When done you can return to iTunes and remove the check mark for Enable disk use and apply the changes.
- Disconnect your iPod if it says that it is safe to disconnect.
For Mac (or to manually uninstall using a Windows computer):
- Connect your iPod and open iTunes
- On the left you will see Device with the name of your iPod. Select it. You will see new information appear on the right.
- Under Options (you may need to scroll down) put a check mark in Enable disk use.
- Select Apply.
- Minimize your iTunes.
- Select the drive letter of your iPod. For example, if your iPod represents the F drive then select the F drive.
- Open the Notes folder.
- Delete the files you no longer want installed.
- When done you can return to iTunes and remove the check mark for Enable disk use and apply the changes.
- Disconnect your iPod if it says that it is safe to disconnect.
