I installed a Bible but part of the Bible is missing.

If you have followed the step-by-step procedures that were provided in the Laridian Knowledgebase for "How do I install MyBible and Bibles to my Palm OS device?" and you're still missing part of the Bible, following are some additional items you can try:

  • Make sure you have enough free space available to install the products. To check, go to the home screen of your Palm OS handheld. Tap the upper left corner to get your drop down menu. Select INFO. Installing MyBible with one standard Bible will require from 2-4 megs of space depending on which Bible is being installed. A single Bible module can require up to 1200k of space so if you're missing just a small section of the Bible or the New Testament, make sure you have enough space free to install the rest of the modules that didn't install. A study Bible, such as the NIV Study Bible, will require that you have nearly 12 megs of free space.
  • Try a different USB connection. If you are connected to a USB Hub, try connecting directly to the computer. If you are already connected directly to the computer, try a different USB connection, also on the computer. We have found that sometimes, for some reason, a particular file just will not install with a person's current configuration. Usually, changing to a different USB port, connected directly to the computer, will then allow that last file to get installed.
