Out of memory. The page cannot be displayed.

An out of memory condition has occurred, and DailyReader cannot display the page. This condition may occur on handhelds which have 8MB or less of RAM (memory). Your Palm OS handheld has a limited amount of memory that it designates for use by the running program. The remainder of memory is reserved for storage of your contacts, appointments, books, etc. Thus, even if you have 4MB free on your 8MB Palm OS handheld, for example, the Palm operating system will devote only a fraction of this memory to DailyReader. DailyReader is typically able to use this memory to display the devotional readings and Bible text that you have selected. This error indicates that there isn't enough available memory in your handheld to display the page. The error is most likely to occur with longer passages that include multiple chapters of the Bible, or longer chapters such as Psalm 119. To complete the reading, choose one of the following options:

  • Note the Bible passage to be read, then start MyBible. Read the passage in MyBible, or
  • Stroke a capital V in the Graffiti area (this is an up-stroke V) or type an uppercase V with your keyboard. Enter a smaller section of verses to be read. (For instance, if you are trying to read Genesis 41-44, enter Genesis 41.) Repeat until the entire passage has been completed.
