How do I highlight or unhighlight text?

First, you need to make sure that you are using MyBible 3.0 or later. To check, open MyBible. Tap Options and About MyBible. The build number in the lower right corner needs to be 030408 (April 8, 2003) or later. If you are using a version earlier than 030408 then you need to upgrade in order to have highlighting capabilities. Send an email to sales@laridian.com requesting upgrade information. Include your name and enough information about your Laridian account that we can verify your current ownership of MyBible. If you own a CD, you must register the CD to obtain upgrade pricing. Complete registration instructions are included in the documentation on the inside of the CD case. Secondly you must have a handheld that supports color. If your handheld does not support color then you will have underlining instead of highlighting. To highlight or underline text:

  1. Tap Edit, Highlighter on/off OR enter a Graffiti H (or tap the H on a keypad).
  2. Select a color at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap and drag your stylus across the area you wish to highlight.
To unhighlight text:
  1. Tap the white color at the end.
  2. Tap and drag your stylus across the area you wish to unhighlight.
To remove an underline (for non-color handhelds):
  1. Tap the eraser at the end.
  2. Tap and drag your stylus across the area for which you wish to remove the underline.
