I'm switching devices and they each have a different operating system. Can I use the same Laridian products?

If you are switching from one device type to another device type such as: Palm OS -> Pocket PC Pocket PC -> Smartphone Palm OS -> Blackberry etc. you will not be able to use the same products you purchased and downloaded previously on the other platform. They are not compatible.

HOWEVER, when you purchase Bibles and books for one platform, it is not necessary to purchase them again for another platform. Laridian has changed their End User License Agreement (EULA). If you have purchased content for a particular reader, Laridian now allows you to download it for any other reader for which the same product is available.

For example, if you purchased the NIV Bible for the Smartphone, you never need to purchase the NIV again from Laridian even if you switch to Palm OS, Pocket PC, BlackBerry, etc. The products are already on your download page if you are a registered Laridian customer. All you need to do to access those other files is login to your Laridian account which shows that purchase or CD registration and go to your Download page to download the files for the other platform.

You will still need to purchase the appropriate reader for the new platform but you do not need to purchase the same books and Bibles you already own as long as you are a registered Laridian customer with those products.

NOTE: If you intend to use the product simultaneously on more than one device, you must still purchase additional copies. One purchase is for use on one device only so if you are switching from Palm OS to Pocket PC then you need to remove the files from the Palm OS device OR purchase a second license for every product you intend to use on both devices.
