Do I have the latest version?

Laridian offers free updates to products that you have previously purchased. Updates include fixes and minor enhancements. For instance, changing from version 1.01 to 1.02 is an update. An upgrade, on the other hand, includes significant new features. Changing from MyBible 2 to MyBible 3 is an upgrade. Updates are free; upgrades are not free.

  • If you purchased directly from Laridian or have previously downloaded your purchase from Laridian: You can determine if any updates are available by logging into your download page. Your download page will identify products that have been updated since you previously downloaded the product.
  • If you purchased from an online store other than Laridian: Once that store notifies us of your purchase (usually within 7 days of your purchase), you are registered and can download updates. If you don't yet know your login information, navigate to the login and download page, then select the forgotten password link. Enter the e-mail address you used when you purchased at the other store. Your Laridian login information will be sent to you. If you have not yet downloaded from Laridian, then your download page will list the product as needing to be installed. Use the instructions below to determine if the version in your download page is newer than the version you have already installed. If you have previously downloaded your product from Laridian, your download page will indicate whether an update is available.
  • If you purchased a Laridian product on CD from a store: You must register your purchase in order to download any free updates or qualify for upgrade discounts. Registration information was included with your CD. Use the instructions below to determine if the version in your download page is newer than the version you have already installed.
ALL CUSTOMERS: You may also use the "about" information in your product as well as the version history information included here to determine if you have the latest version, or if you need an update or upgrade. Follow these steps.
  1. Find Out What Version You Have
    1. Select the About menu choice.
      • For MyBible, select About MyBible from the Options menu.
      • For DailyReader, select About DailyReader from the Options menu.
      • For Memorize!, select About Memorize! from the Help menu.
      • For PrayerPartner, select About from the About menu.
      • For CountEm, tap the About button.
    2. The resulting About screen will show the build number. (This build number is actually a 6-digit date, yymmdd.) Some products also show a version number in addition to the build number.
  2. Find Out If It Is The Newest Version The latest revision of each of our major products is listed on the Revision History page. Review the revision history to see what's changed since the version you have installed. If you don't have the latest version, you'll be able to determine if you need an update or an upgrade.
  3. If You Need an Update

You need an update if the version is the same, but there is a newer revision. If you don't have the latest revision of the version that you have purchased, go to the Login and Download page and enter your Customer ID and Password. Just re-download the program and re-install it. There is no charge to download the latest revision of the version that you have purchased.

  4. If You Need an Upgrade You may find that you are a version behind and need an upgrade. If so, contact us at sales@laridian.com. Include your Customer ID. We'll let you know if you are eligible for any special upgrade discounts.
