What did you do before coming to Laridian? I wrote the original QuickVerse program and brought it to Parsons Technology in 1988. At Parsons I was their VP, Church Software Division, but also ran technical support, manufacturing, and shipping at various times. I was there for ten years before leaving at the end of 1998 to start Laridian with Jeff and Jim.

Current devices: iPhone, HP 4700 Pocket PC, Motorola Q Windows Mobile Smart Phone. I also have a box of Palms, iPods, Blackberries, and other mobile devices I pull out when needed.

Preferred mobile platform: Pocket PC, though the iPhone has a great Web browser

Favorite Laridian product: PocketBible for Windows and Pocket PC

Favorite Laridian books: NASEC with The Complete Word Study Dictionary Old and New Testament editions; Ancient Christian Commentary series.

Favorite non-Laridian PDA software: This is kinda boring, but I really like the Intellisync wireless sync software that keeps my Windows Mobile Smart Phone sync'ed up to my desktop over the air. I don't have to bother with a USB or IR connection to my desktop.

What do you do when you're not at work? My main hobby is flying. I'm a private pilot with single, multi-engine, and instrument ratings. My dad and I own a little "light sport airplane" that we fly around for sightseeing, and I have access to bigger airplanes for business or personal travel. I also enjoy movies, reading, and Sudoku puzzles. And I do technology-related projects for my church.

What did you do before coming to Laridian? I spent nearly ten years at Parsons Technology, providing development and project management for its Bible and church related products. Prior to that, I worked with Craig at a large, local company. Craig and I have been working together since 1984!

Current devices: 8GB iPhone, Dell Axim X51v Pocket PC, Palm Tungsten T5, 30G iPod

Preferred mobile platform: This is so hard to answer! My iPod probably gets the most use outside of my office, while my preference for Pocket PC or Palm depends on what I'm currently working on!

Favorite Laridian products: iPocketBible for listening to the Word and PocketBible for studying the Word

Favorite Laridian books: Holman Christian Standard Bible and the Life Application Study Bible notes

Favorite non-Laridian PDA software: Though it's not PDA software, I'm going to answer music for my iPod. Lately, I've been listening to a lot of Fernando Ortega.

What do you do when you're not at work? I enjoy family time, St. Louis Cardinal baseball and a fantasy baseball league. A lot of my time is spent in ministry at my local church.

What did you do before coming to Laridian? I was a youth pastor at an independent Bible church in Cedar Rapids. Before that I worked at Parsons Technology (with everyone else) and before that I worked for a publishing house in New Jersey.

Current devices: HP iPAQ rx5915 Travel Companion, Cingular 2125, Tungsten T3, iPod 30GB

Preferred mobile platform: Pocket PC

Favorite Laridian product: PocketBible

Favorite Laridian books: Bible-English Standard Version; Commentary-IVP New Testament Commentary Series; Dictionary-AMG Complete Word Study Dictionaries; Devotional-Daily Light for the Daily Path (ESV). Other favorites: New Living Translation, Second Edition, Ancient Christian Commentary Series, Treasury of Scripture Knowledge, My Utmost for His Highest.

Favorite non-Laridian PDA software: TomTom, OneNote Mobile, TextMaker, LingvoSoft Phrase Book

What do you do when you're not at work? During the winter, I'm probably on the ski slope working on ski patrol or just having fun. During the summer months, I'm probably on a missions trip or youth trip with our church. On a more regular basis, I'm probably preparing the next lesson for the young adult Sunday school class at our church. At any given time I may be exploring New York City, the "greatest city in the world."

What did you do before coming to Laridian? I was an employee of Parsons Technology for 8 years and held several positions throughout my tenure. Starting out as an outbound telemarketer (yuck), I later switched to inbound sales and helped in shipping as needed. Looking for more of a challenge, I moved to technical support where I handled phone support for the church software products and then online support for a much larger line of products. In my most recent position before coming to Laridian, I was responsible for coordinating the efforts of technical support, marketing, and development as they related to customer support issues on Parsons Church products.

Current devices: HP iPAQ, Dell Axim, and numerous Palm OS devices, all supplied by Laridian for my working pleasure.

Preferred mobile platform: Pocket PC

Favorite Laridian product: PocketBible

Favorite Laridian book: Life Application Study Bible

Favorite non-Laridian PDA software: I only use Laridian products.

What do you do when you're not at work? I enjoy gardening, taking walks with my husband and two dogs, fishing, hunting, and camping. I also enjoy pitching for my church softball league, singing in choir, participating in AWANA, and various committee-related activities.

What did you do before coming to Laridian? I was the Director of IT for a large music company in the Midwest for 11 years. In my previous job I was also one of three programmers responsible for a consortium of music retailers throughout the United States. Prior to that I was a private guitar instructor and worked in retail sales.

Current devices: iPhone, HP iPaq 2215, Palm Zire 71, iPod Photo (I also have my original device: a Casio Cassiopeia E-100)

Preferred mobile platform: Pocket PC

Favorite Laridian products: PocketBible and iPocketBible

Favorite Laridian books: New American Standard Exhaustive Concordance and the Bible Knowledge Commentary

Favorite non-Laridian PDA software: I'm pretty boring when it comes to non-Laridian uses for my PDAs. I use them for the typical "built-in" features such as note taking, minor contact management, wireless internet, email etc. Not much else.

What do you do when you're not at work? Having spent the past 15 years as a guitarist and singer with a Christian rock band, most of my extracurricular activities are related to music. I am a worship leader/guitarist for two local congregations. I also operate an independent recording studio, record label and music publishing company (though not very actively). Occasionally you can find me being soundly beaten by my two oldest children in a wide array of video games. Summer months often find me trying to coax grass to grow in the dandelion field I call my back yard.
