Laridian Memorize! 1.5 gives you an easy-to-use, organized and effective way to memorize Scripture using your Pocket PC. With Memorize!, you can:

• Collect and categorize any number of verses
• Memorize and review, one verse at a time
• Reinforce your memorization with a self-test
• Adapt the program to your needs and preferences

Entering your verses is easy!
Just specify the verse reference and translation, a brief hint to help you remember the verse (optional), and the verse itself. Memorize! will add it to your list.

Works with PocketBible
If you use PocketBible, you can import the verse directly from your PocketBible Bible. It's faster and more accurate than typing!

Easy review features
Just highlight any verse in your list and tap the Review button to get started memorizing or reviewing.

Quickly scroll through your list
Use the next and previous buttons to move within your list of verses. You'll be able to conveniently review all of the verses that you're working on.

Test your recollection!
Once you've reviewed the verse, use the unique test feature to see if you can remember it on your own. Memorize! will show you the verse reference and translation. You respond by selecting the first letter of each word in the verse. As you choose the correct letter, Memorize! will show that word.

You can't do that with a 3x5 index card!

Stuck?
Memorize! will help you along. Tap the hint button to see the hint that you specified when you added the verse to your list. Tap Help to see the next word. Or tap Show to see the entire verse or passage. Select Retry from the menu to test yourself on the verse again.

When you're satisfied with that verse, press the arrow buttons to move to the next or previous verse in your list.

Adapt to your needs and preferences
Memorize! does not impose a specific memorization and review method upon you, but rather allows you to adapt the program to meet your needs. Create as many collections of verses as you'd like. Then use the Categories feature to configure your verses to your method and preferences. Here are some possibilities.

1. Do you want to work on a small number of verses everyday, and review a different set of verses every day? Add a small number of verses to the 'Memorize' category. Then create additional categories, such as 'Monday Review', 'Tuesday Review', and so forth. As a verse is memorized, move it to one of these review categories. Try to keep the number of verses in each category roughly equal.
2. Do you want to dedicate a larger amount of time to reviewing verses that you've already learned, but do it less often? Maintain only one 'Review' category.
3. Do you want to memorize different verses on each day of the week? Create additional categories, such as 'Monday Memory', 'Tuesday Memory', and so forth.
4. Do you want to distinguish between verses that you are working on, verses that you have recently learned (and therefore need to review more often), and verses that you know very well? Then use categories such as 'Memorizing', 'Daily Review', 'Weekly Review', and 'Monthly Review'.
5. Do you want to memorize verses by subject? Then use categories such as 'Evangelism' and 'Worship'.
