The dictionary contains articles on major people and places of the Bible, plus articles related to the history, customs, and doctrines of Bible times.

About the Author(s)

Matthew George Easton (1823-1894) was a Scottish Presbyterian preacher and scholar whose literary achievements included English translations of two of Franz Delitzsch's commentaries.
